Church and civic leaders in Montgomery launched the school to provide Bible-centered education for ministers and families. Over time the college expanded into a comprehensive university while maintaining a commitment to accessible Christian higher education and regional service.
The V. P. Black College of Biblical Studies, along with clinics in counseling and law, equips students to embody restoration values in congregational and civic life.
